Here in UK, one of the everyday workers food is undoubtedly sandwiches, right!?!
And among the various combinations, one of the most famous is B.L.T. – combination of Bacon, Lettuce (Iceberg is the best) and Tomatoes.
Now, how about a B.L.T. with a twist? Confused or curious?
I must confess that at the first when I’ve hear about this one I was sceptical, but since the very first bite, I felt in love with it and I said to myself, if one day I end up having my own food services, this would be the very first one on my list.
This was 10 years ago, and guess what have just recently happened?
My profession is accountant, working on everyday offices, but since my last temporary contract ended, and with a massive motivation of my husband summed with the drive desire to cook for people, here we go in a food venture which seems to be getting a good and positive acceptance, at least among people we know.
So, here is a bit of this delicious BLT, wait a minute. I have never mentioned what the twisty is. lol.
Ok, I complement it with French Brie cheese and Onion Marmalade layered beautifully on Italian Ciabatta Bread. The combination, accordingly with my another half – “This is the best thing ever…” and other things I could not understand he was saying while having mouth full.
Here are some images, a making-of and a link to buy one if you are luck enough to be in the area. Unfortunately I can’t ship it over the boundaries of Morley area in Leeds, but the idea is there and if you want to try, it totally worth it. Trust me, is delicious. 😉
